RURAL HEALTH PLAN FOR NSW
For the first time since 2002 a rural health plan is being rolled out across the state.
Health Minister Jillian Skinner was in Lismore to launch the blueprint today, designed to lift rural health standards.
“I’m very please to report that country patients can now access 85-percent of their care within their local health district that’s a major improvement.”
t has three key strategies – enhance the rural workforce, strengthen infrastructure, and improve E-health.
