Avoca’s Adrian Buchan will paddle out for the second time in the Moche RipCurl Pro in Portugal tonight, Australian time, after falling short of progressing in round one.
He’ll be joined by Copacabana’s Matt Wilkinson, who was up against world number two, Kelly Slater.
The Central Coast local scored the highest points in the heat for his opening wave, but was beaten by Slater overall.
