In a major North Coast Football shake up, Sawtell Scorpions Coach Richard Evans has announced he will move to Northern Storm as head coach.
He’ll replace Jade Porter who is stepping down to spend more time with family.
“I was always impressed with them through the year, they were always a difficult team to beat, I think we drew with them twice at Sawtell, they had a good work ethic about them, so I’ll continue on with that and add a bit of flair.”
Evans will meet with a number of Sawtell players about potentially signing with the Northern Storm in the coming days.
