An 18-year-old man has been charged with high range drink driving, following a crash in Waratah last night.
Police allege the Waratah West man, who’s on his provisional license, crashed into the rear of a parked car on Lorna Street at around 9pm, before reversing and crashing into another vehicle.
He allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.181.
His license was suspended immediately and he’s due to face Newcastle Local Court later this month.
