Children of all ages and abilities will soon have a new space to play in Port Macquarie.
Construction on ‘Livie’s Place’ playground at Westport Park will begin next week and will have wheel-chair friendly and accessible spaces.
It’s the first inclusive playground in the region.
The project is a $300,0000 venture between council, the state government, community groups and the Touched by Olivia Foundation.
It’s hoped to be finished by Christmas.
