A woman murdered in Taree on Sunday night has been revealed as 49-year-old Anne Marie Pearson.
Just after 7 o’clock, police forced entry into a property on Stevenson Street, after reports two women had been stabbed.
Ms Pearson was pronounced deceased, and police arrested 53-year-old Wayne Edward Archer.
He has been charged with murder and will appear before Taree Local Court in November.
