GREAT WHITE SHARK IN LAKE MACQUARIE CAUGHT ON CAMERA

A Hunter fisherman has captured extraordinary footage of a great white shark off Valentine, in Lake Macquarie.

But experts are warning swimmers not to be alarmed – saying it’s normal to see an increase in shark numbers at this time of year.

  2. Same shark that got me for sure, he looks fairly confident. Who are the ‘experts’??? No mention of them in case of liability. Lake Mac is the breeding ground it once was before white man came here. Make sure you direct all enquiries to LMCC, they know all about it..Enjoy.

  3. Len not sure what planet you live on, but it seems every shark spotted in the lake is the one that bit you off Redhead…yeah I see the connection. Mate, don’t envy what you went through and are probably still going through, but you need to get a grip!

  4. Sharks ? My sister said to me 30 yrs ago if you see a shark sit on your ski and tuck them under you ! Thinking back what a laugh I was so small one bite I would have been eaten .I had a lot of hair maybe they would of coughed me up as a big hair ball lol I never saw a shark in lake Macquaries waters .

  5. Swimmers don’t be alarmed of great whites in Lake Macquarie as there is always an increase this time of year ? WTF?
