CLARENCE COUNCIL HOPES TO GET CHEAPER FUNDING

Clarence Valley Council is hoping to pick up some of the $1 billion being offered by the state government for council restructures and mergers.

This is despite the fact that regional councils merged in the Clarence a decade ago.
