A 24-year-old Lismore man is facing a string of driving-related offences, following several police pursuits between Coffs Harbour and Ballina.
Just after 7pm on Tuesday, a man allegedly stole a black Ford Falcon at Sandy Beach.
Police spotted the car along the Pacific Highway at Korora and began a pursuit, but stopped a short time later after the man crashed on Toormina Road.
It’s alleged he failed to stop at the scene.
Police also say he was involved in two more pursuits the following morning at Woolgoolga and Sandy Beach, before he dumped the car and stole a white Toyota.
Yet another pursuit began, but this time road spikes stopped the driver just south of Ballina.
The man will face court today.
