RAIN EVENT STILL ON TRACK

The best rain in months is still on track. It should be one of the best rain events of the year. The coastal showers and partly cloudy skies will ease. The moist onshore winds are going to help feed the deepening trough over western QLD. This system will form into a low and dump widespread rain across the region. Beginning in the NW on Saturday before spreading further east on Sunday. Falls should be solid there could even be some flooding. An east coast low will then form and could cause more heavy falls and strong winds for the Hunter while increasing the swell early next week.
