Fire has destroyed buildings in the northern New South Wales town of Nimbin.
Five buildings were destroyed including the town’s museum, the Rainbow Cafe and the Bring a Bong Cafe.
Nine fire trucks were called to the blaze just after three this morning, but the buildings were already well alight.
Nimbin, just outside Lismore, is famous for its drug culture and alternative lifestyle.
A Rural Fire Service spokesman says police have started an investigation into the fire.
