A 12-year-old boy was today handed a 12-month good behaviour bond – and a suspended control order – for lighting two Hunter bushfires last year.
The Childrens Court magistrate described it as a criminal and stupid action with shocking consequences, and warned the youth he’s one step away from being sent to jail.
