With school holidays approaching, Manning-Great Lakes police have issued a warning to residents and visitors to lock-up their valuables.
It follows five incidents in the past few days involving ground floor and high-rise apartments.
Police say thieves have been climbing over balconies to upper level floors and gaining entry through unlocked doors.
Some of the items stolen include cash, car keys and jewellery.
