A busy Kempsey road renowned for congestion during school pick-up times could be safer by the end of the week.
Funded by Transport for New South Wales, a section of North Street will now have a designated bus stop area.
“The bus interchange area will improve safety for users of the public transport system. It will also leniate the roadway in that area so that buses and normal vehicles can move a lot safer”
It’s welcome news for community groups who have been pushing for the upgrade.
