JUNIOR RUGBY GOES PINK TO BOOT OUT BREAST CANCER

Newcastle’s Number Five Sportsground was dressed in pink, as the Hunter Junior Rugby Union joined forces with the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation to promote “Boot Out Breast Cancer”.
The initiative sees both rugby players and referees across the region wear pink socks during matches, raising money for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Today’s fundraiser, held by the Wanderers club, raised more than $9,000.
