A couple woke to a grisly scene early this morning, finding a decapitated cat in their front yard, and a message written on their garage door, in what’s presumed to be the animal’s blood.
Residents were jarred awake by a loud explosion just before three am, finding a car burning in a driveway.
“It’s horrendous, not just for the residents, but for the community as a whole. It’s something which I haven’t encountered previously and it’s quite disgraceful.”
Police say the residents are assisting police with their investigations.
They can’t confirm if the homeowners are known to them.
