A Pelaw Main family has had a lucky escape, after its home went up in flames overnight.
Just before midnight, fire crews were called to Stanford Street to find the three bedroom dwelling well alight.
The four occupants of the home managed to leave the residence before the blaze took hold, which is believed to have started at the rear of the premises.
Police say early investigations indicate an electrical fault may have started the fire.
