TASERS CONFISCATED FROM TWO MEN ON MID NORTH COAST
Coffs-Clarence police have arrested two men after allegedly finding four taser guns in their possession.
A 56-year-old man was charged with possessing three of the electronic devices after a raid on a house in Reserve Street Grafton yesterday.
A second man was allegedly found with one at Woolgoolga.
Three of the devices double as torches and police say they were imported from Thailand.
Detective Inspector Darren Jameson said, “They’re four tasers that are now off the street, those are prohibited weapons in New South Wales, it is an offence to possess them and both persons will be appearing in court over the next couple of months.”
Police have also released CCTV photos of a man and a woman seen in Grafton who are wanted for questioning over a violent home invasion and robbery near Dorrigo two years ago.
