The heavy coastal showers moved from Newcastle to Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast today. Overnight Tweed Heads copped 52mm.

What we have now is pretty much how it will remain for the rest of the week.

The big dry inland across the NW will continue as increased sunshine and warmth spreads across the Hunter and Mid North Coast with NW to NE winds.

The shower activity is going to continue for the Gold Coast and northern NSW coast for the next few days.
