Newcastle Knights prop Zane Tetevano has been convicted and fined $440 after pleading guilty to malicious damage in Belmont local court.
In the early hours of April 28, the 23-year-old punched the windscreen of a taxi in Merewether.
Tetevano’s contract has been terminated by the club.
