COMMUNITY GROUP CONTINUES PUSH FOR ARTIFICIAL REEF

The Old Bar Sand Replenishment Group is continuing its fight to have an artificial reef installed at Old Bar, to protect the beach from coastal erosion.

The group has handed over a petition to Myall Lakes MP Stephen Bromhead with more than 3,700 signatures in support of its proposal.

Mr Bromhead will pass it on to the Minister for the Environment Robyn Parker tomorrow.
