But now dogs are part of a new program that’s being launched in Coffs Harbour next week, looking at what they can do for children living with Autism.

  1. This is a wonderful service and I am well aware it works. The dilemma lies in the fact that it is quite costly. I have an Autistic Child and have just inquired about this service and the price with a company in Queensland called ” Smart Pups “. I was accepted however the problem lies in the cost, which is $25,000. How on earth can someone on Carer’s pension afford these astronomical fee’s. Something more has to be done because the Autism Dogs are much more successful with Therapy than any other service out there.
