BODY FOUND AFTER CARAVAN FIRE

A 35-year-old man has died in a caravan fire in the state’s north west.

Emergency services were called to Manners Street in Tenterfield, at about 10pm on Monday, following reports of a fire.

Crews extinguished the blaze a short time later, and on inspection found the man’s body.

Another man was treated by paramedics for minor burns to his head and hand.

The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
