A 27-year-old man has been charged in relation to a number of armed robberies in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area.
At about 10.15 this morning the man was arrested at a property in Nowra and charged with three counts of armed robbery.
The charges relate to offences in Lambton, Windale and Dora Creek, where closed premises were targeted.
He was refused bail to appear at Nowra Local Court next month.
