A man has been charged after a teenager was stabbed in Ballina yesterday.
Police say the 19-year-old victim went to a Tamar Street home looking for a friend, but was met by a 32-year-old man who allegedly refused to let him enter.
It’s alleged a fight between the pair followed, with the older man allegedly stabbing the teenager a number of times using a pair of scissors.
The 32-year-old man’s been charged with reckless wounding.
The victim remains in a serious condition in Lismore hospital.
