COUNCIL CRACKS DOWN ON RESIDENTS SELLING CARS ON ROADSIDE RESERVES

Hastings residents who try to sell their cars on roadside reserves will cop a $330 on the spot fine.

Council rangers are cracking down on the offence and have been placing warning letters on the windscreens of vehicles parked illegally for the past 12-months.

The move comes ahead of the holiday season, with council expecting to see an influx of cars, boats and motorbikes on the region’s roadside reserves and footpaths.
