It’s no longer enough for boats to look good and go fast, buyers are now demanding luxury vessels that are cheaper to run.
Gold Coast company, Maritimo, is keen to meet that need, with two new fuel-efficient vessels.

It comes at the end of what’s already been a successful year for the manufacturer.
“The tourists are starting to come back, we are beginning to see boats being bought locally”
The company is looking to fill more jobs at it’s Hope Island factory next year.
