WOMAN STILL CRITICAL AFTER GRAFTON STABBING
A woman remains in a critical condition in hospital following what’s thought to have been a domestic incident in Grafton on Friday night.
The victim flagged down a taxi in Villiers Street – the driver allegedly saw a man running from the scene.
Police say a 55-year-old male was later arrested and charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to murder.
The 42-year-old woman underwent surgery in Grafton Hospital for stab wounds to her stomach, upper chest area and neck.
She’s since been transferred to Coffs Harbour Hospital.
