WEATHER UPDATE: HEATING UP BEFORE THE RAIN RETURNS

Thursday is going to get quite hot for the Hunter the NW and parts of the coast as the winds switch back to the N ahead of the next wet weather system to move through on Friday producing widespread rain and thunderstorms for most of the broadcast region.

That system is going to contract to the NE clearing during Saturday for a fine and mostly sunny start to Summer on Sunday.
