A teenager has been charged over a robbery in Blackalls Park near Toronto yesterday.
At around four o’clock in the afternoon, police say a 17 year old boy entered a convenience store on Fawcett Street, then threatened the 62 year old male attendant demanding cash.
When the attendant refused, it’s alleged the teen stole cigarettes and threw items around the store.
Police from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command were contacted and after patrolling the area, arrested a teen.
He was taken to Toronto Police Station and charged with robbery.
He was given strict bail conditions to attend children’s court on Monday December 9.
