The Police Association of NSW held a press conference this morning to address the ongoing issue of critical staff shortages across the state.
Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Michael Gallacher announced the appointment of 90 more officers between Port Stephens to the Tweed between now and 2015.
“What we are now looking at is staggering police resources from upcoming increases in authorised strengths to be allocated to the North Coast,” Minister Gallacher said.
