The head of Newcastle’s Anglican Church says throwing open the doors of the cathedral on the weekend is just as important now as it was years ago.
The annual ‘Back to the Cathedral Sunday’ event is described as an opportunity for those who have left church, or never been, to see what it’s like.
“People has faith as an option now in a way that they didn’t use to. So we need to be telling people, hey faith is the best option.” – Father STEPHEN WILLIAMS – Dean of Newcastle
