The eye-sight of competitors at the Queensland Wave Ski Finals was put to the test at Kingscliff this morning.
Gold Coaster, Reese Duncan, used the event to launch his come-back to the sport.
But pelting rain and messy swell made competition slow going.
“It’s 20-minutes, you only need to best two waves so just be composed, take your time, and wait for the right wave to come through.”
The Australian titles start tomorrow.
