Former Port Macquarie golfer, Steven Jeffress teed off in fourth position at the Australian PGA Championships on the Gold Coast yesterday.
But things unravelled for the 32-year-old as the finals got underway – he shot a double bogie on the first hole and never fully recovered.
At the end of competition, he was three under par, tying for 14th place, while Masters Champion Adam Scott won the tournament after finishing 14 under.
