NATHAN GREEN FIVE OFF THE PACE AT AUSTRALIAN PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

Just three players from the Hunter made the cut at the Australian PGA Championship, with Toronto’s Nathan Green still the pick of the bunch.
Following a first round 75, Nick Flanagan continues to climb the leaderboard, now up to equal 12th.
Green started the day three off the lead, but his opening tee shot wasn’t his best.
“Wow you don’t see that too often with these modern drivers, they’re almost idiot proof.”
He recovered to claim par on the first, but dropped shots on the second and the fourth left him five shots off the pace.
