  1. Another heartless and shocking decision by a council who are allowing our beaches to become a laughing stock. Remember when we had rubbish bins on the beach for children and parents to put their litter, now locals do the cleaning up. Remember when elderly ratepayers could park on the lower level at Toowoon Bay, now car spaces take up by the fitness set and personal trainers at our beaches. Remember when The Entrance beach was cleaned of weed on a regular basis, a beach that should be a crown jewel for a tourist venue, now a disgrace. And to think the wonderful volunteers who teach disabled surfers are to be charged for doing this. Let these small time pollies who run councils get back to fixing the potholes and general problems and butt out of making decisions on beaches and more recently getting rid of life-guards who protect them.
