FIRE CREWS CONTAIN EARLY MORNING BLAZE IN HAMILTON NORTH
Fire and Rescue NSW have contained an early morning fire at a heritage listed former gas-works at Hamilton North.
Crews responded to several 000 calls at about 1.30 at the Clyde Street property.
The fire was contained three hours later, but not before half the building was destroyed.
Crews were decontaminated due to the presence of asbestos in the roof.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
