Local artists inspired to connect with each other and the community took part in a pop up art show at Coffs Harbour’s Cavanbah Centre today.
Entitled Art in the Public Realm, the exhibition hosted a wide variety of pieces including cartoons, paintings and even tables made from suitcases.
Some of the artists, including Gail Day, took the opportunity to work on new pieces. [Notes:lady in the back corner]
“The concept around the exhibition is to introduce art to the community and to get people to connect in an urban space. Art is a very good medium to bring people together.”
