Central Coast carer Samantha Page has been honoured for her tireless dedication, as part of New South Wales Carers Week celebrations.
The single mum from Toukley looks after her 3-year-old daughter Macy, who has Down Syndrome.
Today Member for Wyong, Darren Webber, presented her with this year’s Local Carer Award, as a way of saying thanks.
Ms Page is one of 90 carers to be honoured with the award state-wide.
