Newcastle’s Nobbys Lighthouse will act as a beacon for young talent this weekend, when collaborators descend on the lookout for an afternoon of arts and music.
The Second Coming will host The Garden Party, an artist run initiative hosting pop-up gallery space aimed at showcasing the regions talent.
Newcastle-based artists Kwaku Atuahene and Sophia Flegg say the out of the box event is a response to demand from the local art community.
” The cultural arts scene in Newcastle is really flourishing.
“I am really passionate about collaborative events such as this because most of the push for the arts is really grass-roots based,” said Sophia.
