Guide Dogs New South Wales/ACT has revealed one in five of its vision-impaired clients has been struck by a vehicle while crossing the road.
The ‘Watch Out, Cane About’ campaign aims to highlight the dangers faced by cane users, and prompt motorists to take extra care around pedestrians.
