WEATHER UPDATE: A DANGEROUS DAY FOR BUSHFIRES

The sun was back in full force across the entire region today. Tomorrow the 10th of Oct is going to very dangerous and likely to break more heat records.

Hot, gusty NW winds will be strongest across the Hunter, Mid North Coast and NW. Conditions won’t be as severe but still dangerous across New England the Northern Rivers and SE QLD.

Central Australia is experiencing scorching early season temperatures and that heat is headed our way once again as another front approaches the SE. This blast is likely to be the hottest so far this Spring which has already been a record breaker. The change will come through overnight Thursday, making for a hot evening. Friday will be cooler but more heat and gusty NW winds are expected to return across the weekend.
