PARLIAMENTARY LIQUOR INQUIRY ARRIVES IN BYRON BAY

A parliamentary inquiry into alcohol abuse among young people, arrived in Byron Bay today.

Police, community group – Last Drinks at 12, and the Byron Bay liquor accord attended the New South Wales Upper House Inquiry hearing at the Byron Sports centre.

It gave locals a chance to put forward their views on one of the biggest issues affecting the town.

“State government is inquiring into strategies to assist alcohol abuse in young people through out the state and so they’ll be focusing on getting submissions from people in Byron Bay.”
