WEATHER UPDATE: COLD AIR ON THE WAY

Another strong front is sweeping across the SE generating strong wind warnings for the entire region. This front actually holds some cold air, dropping temperatures for a couple of days. Strong, cold SW winds will move in tomorrow switching to the south and likely to generate storms and and showers for the Central Coast and Hunter. The wet weather unlikely to make it past Port Macquarie but the trough in the north will probably trigger showers and storms for the Gold Coast.

Behind the front things will be much calmer as the heat rebuilds under predominantly clear dry skies for the long weekend.

Another pulse in the swell will drive in along the coast on Friday.
