TRIBUTES TO TONY TAMPLIN DURING POLICE REMEMBRANCE DAY IN THE HUNTER
Officers from across the Hunter today gathered to honour policemen and women killed in the line of duty.
National Police Remembrance Day was marked at a service at Newcastle’s Christ Church Cathedral.
It was an emotional experience for the family and colleagues of well-respected Senior Constable Tony Tamplin, who died suddenly in April from a heart attack.
“This year is a sad year for us in the Hunter ‘cos we’re remembering Senior Constable Tony Tamplin who was well known character and officer in the area.”
