It’s a trek that would make even the strongest of legs quiver, but there was no lack of determination from 35 riders who arrived in Newcastle this morning after a 10-day trek from Ipswich in Queensland.
The 1,000 K’s 4 Kids ride raised $307,000 for Camp Quality, which helps put a smile on the face of kids with cancer.
And the riders can be pretty happy with themselves as well, in its third year, it was a fundraising record for the event.
