BELMONT STILL DOMINANT IN NEWCASTLE BASEBALL

Belmont has won its sixth straight Newcastle Baseball grand final, beating White Sox five-two.
Playing in its 24th decider in a row, Belmont made a great start, 16 year old Alex Wells in control on the mound.
In contrast, Callan Davies gave up four runs in the first innings, leaving the Sox with plenty of work to do.
In the end, Belmont’s Scott Harrison was named player of the game, thanks to his two home runs.
