Some amazing early Spring temperatures have been reached with gusty NW winds pushing fire conditions to very high.
Allergy sufferers haven’t had much fun either with high levels of dust and pollen in the atmosphere thanks to the prolonged dry spell, heat and gusty winds.
A change is going to move across the region from tonight, not reaching the Gold Coast until tomorrow evening. Sadly no rain is likely from this change. It will be cooler but still sunny.
The good news is rain is now on the horizon. We may see the first significant rain event for the broadcast region next week. I’ll be tracking this potential event closely in the coming days.
