CANDIDATE Q & A: Ann Lawler, Citizens Electoral Council candidate for Hunter

What motivated you to run for the seat of Hunter?

I have lived in Maitland all my life, I grew up on a dairy and crop farm in Morpeth and my husband Tom and I have operated a small trucking business in the Hunter for 35 years. Through my 16 year association with the CEC I have gained the knowledge from a national and international perspective to know what must be done if Australia is to deal with the global financial crisis and avoid being lured into what’s building –WWIII driven by that crisis.

What do you think are the major issues in the electorate?

Can we stop a Cyprus style “bail-in” plan to steal the deposits of our banking system in order to prop up the international derivatives speculation of the “Too Big to Fail” City of London and Wall Street banks, before it gets passed through parliament? Will Australia deal with the $21.5 trillion dollars of derivatives in our banking system and join in the global fight against bail-in by legislating instead for a US 1933 styled Glass-Steagall Act to separate this parasitical speculation right away from our deposit taking commercial banking? Let the speculation die not the people.

Can you tell us a but about the Citizens Electoral Council, and why you wanted to run with them?

The CEC is dedicated to the common good of all people which can only be achieved under sovereign nation states working in co-operation NOT competition as the free market system demands.
A nation’s profit is not a monetary one it’s human. Is the human value improving? Are we raising the productive output of the population by providing them the necessities they require to add more value to the overall economy of the nation? Real economic value is a continuing process of upshift in education, science and technology not a spiralling down as the free marketeers suck the dollar value out of our productive capabilities.

If elected what will be your first priority?

The CEC’s investigations have revealed that the Bank of International Settlements in Switzerland through the Financial Stability Board has the Legislation “in train” (ready to go) in Australia for a Cyprus Style Bail-In Plan. My first priority will be to stop that. But, stopping that won’t deal with the global quadrillions of dollars or Australia’s 21.5 trillion dollars in derivatives gambling. The derivatives have to be eliminated and that’s why Glass-Steagall bank separation has to be implemented instead and simultaneously our physical economy which gives value to money must be revived. The CEC has ready to go legislation for a National Bank of Credit which would provide public credit, low-interest, long-term credit for our primary and secondary industries and to build those major infrastructure projects the major parties only ever talk about at election time.

Have you run for federal government before?

Since 1997 when I became aware of the CEC and what they represented nationally and globally through their association with the American physical economist Lyndon LaRouche I have contested every federal election in the House of Representatives and once in the Senate. Once I discovered the moral truth of why nation states globally are being systematically destroyed under the Anglo-Dutch system of international finance centred around the Crown, I had to take a stand.

Can you tell us a little about your background and what skills you think you can bring to the job?

My background from childhood, to bringing up a family while building and running a small business, to my last 16 years advocating for the common good of the nation reflects a certain dogged determination to get the job done. Whether elected or not, the state of the global economy will demand more determination until we get back to building a nation, and global community for the future.

It’s a very safe Labor seat , how do you rate your chances of winning this election?

Winning will not be determined by votes, winning will be acting on the CEC’s knowledge and direction before things really deteriorate to a point of no return. We can’t sacrifice the people to prop up unpayable gambling or go to war to defend global tyranny.

What do you think is your biggest challenge in this election?

Getting people to stop being beggars to international bankers and corporations and recognise that under a system of national banking we can fund the nation ourselves. We can stop the exploitation of our industries and resources to overseas interests and that’s what the CEC represents and people should not simply think of voting for us they must join with us to fight for our sovereignty, now.

Why should people vote for you?

For sixteen years I’ve fought for what will best represent the nation and therefore the people of Hunter but I want more than your vote, I want you to join the CEC’s fight too.

VIEWER QUESTION from ANNE DAND: What plans do each party have to address the ageing population?

Unlike the intention of the Cyprus bail-in to eliminate those considered a monetary burden on the economy the CEC’s three point recovery program, if implemented, will create the tax revenue from a nation producing and working that will fund all manner of government responsibilities to the population, aging or otherwise. The CEC would eliminate the GST and other levies; regulate the price chargeable by utility providers; and fund health and dental by taking the burden of building and maintaining infrastructure away from the budget costings. Our national credit bank will fund the infrastructure and an increased tax revenue pool from a revived industrialised economy will give federal and state governments the money to fund the services.
