The company that earlier this week lost a legal bid to recover costs from American rapper, Flo Rida, over his no-show at Newcastle’s 2011 Fat As Butter festival, has gone into voluntary liquidation.
Liquidator Scott Turner has confirmed promoter, Mothership Music, was left owing the tax department $200,000.
Fat As Butter organisers have assured ticket holders that the move will in no way affect this year’s festival, which will be held in October.
